87 325is

hi im in the middle of buying a 325is
the guy im buying it from said the timing belt broke.
I understand that M20 has interfearence valves.
Id like to know how hard it would be to change the valves and how likly it is that the valves effected the heads.

it's won't be too hard to find the parts, doing the work correctly wil probably be the hardest part. If you get a Bentley Manual, and you can use your hands pretty well, you can do this job.

If its a 5 speed car there is a good chance it has cracked/broken rocker arms and possibly cracked/broken rocker shaft guides. Definatly pull the valve cover and inspect the damage. If it has cracked/broken rocker shaft guides it will need a new head.
