just curious about a differential swap in my 87 325. i saw a 325i in the junkyard and w/ 135,000 miles. i want to take the diff. and put it into my 325. Are there any special modifications that need to be done when doing the swap? will there be any problems with the tranny? if anyone has any info. on this please let me know. thanks in advance.
There wont be any problem at all and i lend you this peice of famous advice "do it, do it". HEHEHEHE. I would make sure the diff is in good shape fluid is good and such and that the gears arent messed up look for metal shavings in the fluid. But besides that it will all work. What is the final drive ratio on the diff?
