offabroadway is an unknown quantity at this point
Hey there. Driving my 325e around this past week, by the calculations I'm doing, I'm getting about 22mpg city driving. With an automatic transmission, this sound on the money, or am I losing some economy here?

Thanx

I have an 85 325e with a standard transmission. It's not working right now and I haven't driven it in about two months, but as I recall I used to get around 300 km on a full tank. Somewhere around 15 L/100km. I think that's close to 22 mpg. Either way I don't think you're losing anything.

Awesome, because it looks like I'm set to make about 325km on this tank, and I've done quite a bit of spirited starting around town. Gotta love 3 speed mode on the auto. My fuel guage might be out though. It took me $20 (which is roughly only 22 litres) to go from the 20 mark to the 55 mark on the tank. Figure that out.

Anyways, my baby's got some new pics and stuff up on Cardomain. Give me half an hour and I'll have the links up.

The fuel guage is good for giving you sort of an average level of fuel, but it's not anywhere near accurate.

sounds a little low... but this also depends on how you drive. Then again I know nothing about these cars, my 325is gets a little better than that, but it's also a stick
