| 84 325e Haven't been on in a long time, I've been doing some work as I can and driving or my son has been driving everyday. Parked it over the winter and plan on doing the same this winter. When I first bought the car it had a cracked intake, I went to the local yard after work, no tools just to scout and found a intake laying in the truck of a convertible, bought it and didn't know there's a difference between i's and e's. I made an adapter out of stainless for the idle air bypass, routed the tubing a little different and it worked great. Made a plate for the throttle body, I used the e throttle body and the i is bigger. It bolted up just fine and no problems. I used the injectors from the convertible and was worried about the impedance, resistance, drove around close to the house and no worry's so no issues there either.Resistance was higher in the i's injectors, probably a finer screen or atomizer I'm guessing. I get great mileage and it's not a hot rod but love driving it, ultimate driving machine you might say,BaaHaahaha. Bought a wrecked 325 from Craig and that's been real handy, #1 son barely kissed a parking stop with the oil pan, small leak, J B weld and temporary fix. I think I found a 318ti to drive this winter, put the 325 up and work a little more on it. The car has some dents but spent most of it's life in California so 99% rust free, 4 speed auto, I love it can you tell.
