84 318i tranny fluid - BMW Forum

hey i have my 318 that started getting a little sluggish lost pick up a bit and i checked every thing changed both fuel pumps new distributer new plugs new wired all new filters fuel and air. the car still runs just slow than i read to check tranny fluid so i did it was black so i figure il change that just i dont know what kind to put it any one know also has anyone heard if it might be my problem il take any suggestions thanks for your help and taking time to read this

ok so is it ok to change tranny fluid should I. and whould that even make it drive slow. this fluid may of never been changed and its an 84 any advice would be great
