45% LSD for 323i E21

Hello,

I am looking for a 45 % LSD with a 3,64 ratio for my BMW 323i E21 from 1979.

Does anyone know where I can find that kind of LSD.

At the moment I drive the 25% LSD with 3,64 ratio, but the inner wheel is always spinning when accelerating out of the corners.

Is it possible to rebuilt the 25 % LSD to a 45 % LSD? When yes, which company are doing these kinds of work?

BMPDesigns Carries a 40% lockup Differential for a hefty price but that is for the e30...im not sure if it will fit...sorry i couldnt be more help

I have written a mail to Bmp. I did not know that the diffs for these old cars(youngtimer) were that expensive. But if the driveability is getting better with these diffs, i will spent the money .

Aren't there no others companies specialised in BMW LSD diffs here around Luxembourg,Germany etc (europe )?

check out quaife differentials. i know they are very high quality and come in almost any % lock setting up to 80, but they will probably cost a ton. also, racing dynamics has a 3.64:1 diff for the e46 which has variable lock technology found in the e46 m3, but i dont think it will work on a e21; just thought i'd throw that in just in case

with regard to your other post, it takes special tools/equipment to rebuild and setup the differential R&P properly, it is typically not a DIY job for all but the most hardcore backyard mechanics
