I was just wondering if it is possible to take the E30 M3 side fenders front and rear and attach them to a 325is body?? I am looking into putting wider tires on my 325is hence I would like to put some M3 fenders on the car and plus it looks sick. Also, I wouldn't mind if somebody could point me into where I can find some side fenders off a M3. Tx.

i don't think they fit but why make ur care look like a M3 if it doesn't have M3 power? i have always wondered that, i know that the fenders look really good on M3 but make ur car a unique 325is instead of a 325is that looks like a M3

wouldnt it be a unique 325is with m3 side fenders? Let anyone do what they want to their own car and if you feel its wrong to do that then just dont do it to your car. not anger here im just saying, its all about what you want for your own car.

The front fenders bolt on but they would look wierd with the stock bumpers and there is a big gap between the seams and the rear ones can be fitted also but you need to cut the body panel and have fiberglass ones or metal replicas put on and those need to be riveted on and blended with bondo. It would look nice but its pretty pricey. But if you do it then big ups to you for a unique looking 325is.

i wasnt getting mad either. i just think adding fenders isnt as bad as trying to pull it off as an m3. but yeah i love the fenders on the e30 m3, thats like one of the main reasons i like them better than all the new m3s. so yeah man if you can put them on there that would be awsome
From what I can tell only the sunroof, hood are shared body wise. You would need front bumper, fenders, doors, sideskirt, rear quarter, rear bumper, trunklid, and the back billar. After all that work you could of saved up to get the real thing. What rims are you trying to run with what rubber?
hood, doors, roof up to back window, all glass except for rear window.
underpinnings of body are basically the same.
there's a guy in this area who did a complete body conversion from a M3 to a 325is. he wanted the M3 look but with a 6-cyl engine. he's a body guy and spent a LOT of time doing the job; and rather professionally.
it would cost a fortune to pay someone to do this work.
i've toyed with the idea of building an E30 M3 cabriolet... if only money grew on trees...

I have seen this been done if you look here it is a m3 convertable, ph thats right they didnt make m3 convertables its a 325i with m3 body scheme. Check it out !!!
I have posted before about trying to bore my 325is to a 3.0 liter. I don't like the M3 engine and prefer the torque from the inline 6. I do love everything else on the M3 more though. I am swapping all a-arms, hubs etc. to M3 ones and I am trying to run some thicker rubber because I want to go road racing with this car. I found a M3 chassis when I was buying an E30 but cutting engine mounts and swapping an inline 6 into the M3 engine bay was way too much to deal with. Hence the reason I got the 325is. The only way I can fit thicker tires, with a lowered car, is to extend the fenders, which the M3 fenders were there for in the first place. I found some other things people done to extend the fenders but I am not into rivets and stuff like that. I am looking for front and rear bumpers as well hence I figured I might as well ask how big of a job switching to M3 side fenders is so that I can plan ahead on ordering and building my car instead of being amatuer about it and just buy things without research.

personaly i would say it would be easier to put the 6 in the M3 the put the body on the 325is... materials alone in paint and filler will put you over a grand, thats if you do it yourself probably closer to 2, and your looking at atleast another 5 at the verry minimum for a good job for labour. and then buying the body panels and bumpers is also going to be really pricey, id say it might even be cheaper to buy a M3 and put the 6 in it. then you can sell the S14 and the 325 and make a couple bucks back. not to mention you would then get the 5 bolt pattern with more wheel options.
