Im looking into buying one but need some advice.some reviews i have read say that they can have dangerous handling in the wet and im wondering if this is quite accurate or just something thats been blown out of proportion.
i spose any rwd car is going to be a bit twitchy in the rain, but exactly how bad/good are they?my car will be fitted with 15 inch alloys anyway, and using the best tyres i can afford.any advice?

Yea who ever told you that has smoked thmeselves retarded. I have an E30 325i and no such problems in the rain have arisen. They are just as good as ne other car in the rain, if not better. You won't be disappointed!!

i've had my 325i for about 10 months now and i hav never "lost control" but i hav fishtaild once and it was my fault cuz it had just stopped raining and i was going like 50 around a 30 mph turn(yea, i'm only 17 and i already look back at stupid stuff i've done...). But yea, it has very good handling in rain for RWD

E30 and "dangerous handling" don't even belong in the same paragraph.

I love my E30 325i in the rain! Totally predictable and fun! Anyone calls them unsafe in the wet is on crack!

the reviews were probably by honda owners trying to bash the bmw race also they were probably taking the bmw for a test drive in the rain with completley bald tires. but even then they arn't that bad in the rain, my tires were down the the belts and it still handled good in the rain, well as far as completley slick tires go... : but yeah i put new tires on with 17's and it handles better then my moms 2003 jetta waggon so i got no complains.
