325i bonnet catch Stuck

Hi,

I am having problems with my bonnet catch. its Stuck. I have tried pulling it while somebody pushes the bonnet to try and release it but no luck. I have pullled the lever to its full extent and I am wondering if there is a way of getting to the catch from the front grille. I really need to open the bonnet Please Help......

only one way I know of...you gotta go to the front of the car, turn towards the car itself, reach down with both hands to the lip of the hood and lift as quickly and evenly as you can. You gotta bust loose the crapped up hood release assembly. It's under the hood, so don't bother wrecking inside stuff trying to override something that can't be.....believe me, I have gone through this same thing.....
