325es Front Spoiler

I have a 1986 325es, and I NEED brackets for the front spoiler!! The spoiler itself is fine but broken brackets... I've checked with frabricators and they want as much as a new spoiler to build replacements... Local BMW dealer told me the car was too old and the parts were NA...
If anyone has suggestions I would appreciate it

Best thing to do (I think) is draw out what you need and re-engineer... Head to the local Home Depot or whatever you have in area and create them yourself... You would be amazed what you can fabricate from hardware store!!

i just got done drilling and bolting mine directly to bumper. i think its going to work out great. if you are talking about those blacktriangle looking brackets i never found those either

I'm doing the exact thing now, using coil strap to repair the brackets
.pvc plumbing caps(for the spacing and carriage bolts and washers ,
(because the side brackets are busted off) .
I am also going to re paint it with some red boat paint
.(color is really close!) I'll try to get pics.

Then again ,I think the whole unit costs around 250 bill$
at BMW.

Im sure it would be easy to fabricate your own brackets. All you probably need is a drill and a grinder and a few miscellaneous hand tools. You would be surprised what you can make with a little time and effort
