Does anyone know if a 325e crank will fit into the 325i engine block? Are the engine blocks the same casting? Do they have the same bearing layout? Is it just a matter of giving the 325e crank a little extra space to swing freely, or is it a major modification.
I was wondering because the crank from the 325e has a longer stroke.

isn't that how everyone was making the stroker motors, wasn't it the diesle crank that was forged and had another 2 mm of stroke? anyways good luck.

yea the 524td crank is the one you want, other wise i think you would have to use a super-eta crank, but this guy isnt gonna do either he just wants to sound cool, there have been many threads on this subject, try researching first
