320i E30 Sunroof! - BMW Forum

Hi All,

The sunroof on my 1988 BMW E30 320i has stopped working. A couple of months ago it got stuck open and then after a day or two it decided to close again. Since then i have used it a couple of times but it got stuck again so when I managed to get it closed I left it for a while. It has to be an electrical issue but I wouldnt know where to start. To gain access to the actual sunroof motor I would have to take off the roof lining and I don't want to do this. Any suggestions would be great eg. relays etc.

check out the many DIY is on this issue, it's more than likely a problem with the clips. Good luck let me know how you get on, as I'm suffering a sunroof problem myself at this moment in time
