318is Gear Ratio

im looking to buy a 90/91 318is sometime this summer and was just wondering the gear ratio of the tranny.... and if anyone knows if there are any places that sell just individual gears to change the ratio

korman racing should be able to hook you up in that department.. probably wont like the price of it though. not worth it for most e30 drivers... not worth it for most e46 m3 drivers... custom tranny ratios are expensive.

or did you mean rear end?

i was talking about tranny.... i was thinking of making 1st gear 4sih:1 and maybe raise second alittle. then make 5th gear about .7:1 just to get some mileage while cruising
