lol my brother had it lol i was driving it around the block and i was like this car aint as good as my car lol i told him that car would be good for our little sister its a granny car no offence its still a drivable car but not my weapon of choice
I had my 325i in Norway, while there I met a new friend with a 318i and he really wanted to compare acceleration. (Great idea in Norway) :nana But I was amazed how his car fared! B)
I like my 318i. The 4cyl engine may not be as good, but the grip in my car is more than enough. Today I slungshot around an exact 90 degree turn (by my eye anyhow. :P) at like ... 4th gear @ like 3500 RPM's. My speedo is broken, but yeah... A little weight shifting and the wheels hardly squeaked. I think my car needs new shocks... i get more body roll than I'm satasfied with - but for now it handles like I want it to.
Steering is a little lose when I compare it to my friends car, and the braking is not nearly as strong - but I've got what I need.

yeah...its just there to make it sound sporty...to me the 318s are one if not the worst and ugliest to look at and drive along with the old bimmers....I wouldn't consider a 318i at all.... I personally wouldn't consider anything less than a 98/99 BMW...more expensive it is...the better it is going to be!

The 318iS is the sport version. Still 4 cyls. but 16 valves, uprated fuel injection, much better suspension and (if I remember rightly) it is lighter. It's 0-60 is quicker than the 320i (E30, 36 and 46!) but not as quick as the compact 318Ti (same engine). Also the iS has better fuel economy and running costs than the 320i.
318is is better than 320i. Yeah it is 136hp. It has better fuel economy, it has 16 valves. It is more refined. The best you can get from 4 cylinders.
325 on the other hand is the big brother, 6 cylinder, lots of power.... BUT you always find that the fuel tank is empty. Is there a hole somewhere or what? If you don't mind the mpg it is OK.
But I think that you guys (from USA) don't mind the fuel economy at all
What is the gasoline price there? Here is $1/liter.
BTW the compact is e30 with better look

Drag racing an m3 is like going fishing with a hooker, it's fun but it's not what you got her for.
There's no replacement for displacement.
I need to know!

Is that when your grandma drives? That's absurd. Mine simple and plain 318 doesn't get as much as your 325...
doing 50 km/h in 5th maybe... downhill!
