Does anyone know where I can find a supercharger for under $600 and can I use it with the stock internals, head, exhaust and fuel system? I have never done anything like this. I've looked on ebay and the only have turbo set-ups, thats not what I want to do. How long do you think it will take, a day a couple days, weeks?

I'd say you could get the charger for 1500, but the tubing f.e. has to be custom made. That'd probably be at least another 4k

yeah a DIY SC can be had for about $1500 if you have damn good fabrication skills

I couldn't buy a used one for that low like on ebay or something the fabrication wouldn't be a problem I pretty much work in a metal shop we have a cnc and stuff

If you can get your hands on a cheap centrifugal supercharger, you might have some luck, but I doubt you'll be able to manage an Eaton.

Then you have to add the price for an EMS, sensors, software, dyno time, and it just keeps going and going. Do your research first and then start planning what you want to get out of your car. Sometimes stock internals do not take to boost too kindly (either turbo or S/C).

so what would be the best bang for the buck with this money besides the chip I was thinking headers and cat back I was told from an unreliable source that the cats shouldn't be messed with on these cars

Eatons work, and work well...i have seen a few eaton charged beaters over on E30tech....just do it right and clean...what are you going to do for fuel management?
