1988 E30 Throttle Sticks!!!!!

The car starts and idles fine but once i apply the gas its like the throttle sticks and the rpm's start climbing
Does anybody know whats wrong with my e30?
its my girlfriends back-and-forth to work car and we need it bak on the road as soon as possible

well i guess i should have looked under the hood first before i posted this thread because the top part of the throttle body (where all the cables hook up too) needs to be lubed up because it sticks.
Whats the best lube/grease for the job?

I think I'd check with an auto parts store to make sure to get the right stuff.

Give the cables a blast with WD40 to start with, then on a free weekend take the cables out and pour oil down the internal part and work up and down....
