1988 325is Questions (New to E30's)

I am looking at purchasing one this week and giving my wife my E36. Anyway, is there anything in particular I should be looking at on the car? I mean odd issues that car may have.

egk2 is an unknown quantity at this point
Check out roadfly.org, r3vlimited.com, e30tech.com and turnermotorsports.com for their classified ads, many nice e30's out there for sale, take your time to find the right one, also spend the extra money to
find one in better condition, it will save yourself many headaches.
