hi, my 1986 325i auto.. runs perfectly, then i will switch it of and it wont start, somtimes i can use it all weekend and it's fine, then another time , i'll go to it and it wont start, next day it starts and runs perfectly..it's doing my head in..can anybody help thanks..vet-racer
Check to see if you have spark when it fails to start, if you have no spark, check the connectors for the crank sensor just below the starter for bad connections. This has been known to cause a no start condition and then start for no reasion.
