first off let me say hello and tell you a little about myself...ex VW fanatic in the military, i bought a 320i m3 the other day german spec and the guy replaced the windows with shatter proof glass like we have in the states, my question is how easy is it to get it to the states? What do i have to do ...i would think it would be easier than importing a RHD car , any info is definately appreciated. Thanks alot
when you say 320i M3, do you mean that you have the 2.0L S14 (M3 engine) or is it just a 2.0L M20 with a M technic package? either way you should post some pics when you get the chance. sorry i cant answer any questions about importing, but being in the military might make things a little easier
im also in the military trying to convert my bmw to us spec -- from what i under stand the majority of the price is EPA testing but i keep hearing anywhere from $3000-$5000.
but im still trying to find a list of exactly what is needed, and what of that i can do myself, plus im trying to see if i can import it then convert it.
just have to brouse the customs website some more.
if you learn anything new let me know and i will do the same.
i will post some pics tomorrow, i honestly don't know much about bmw's so maybe you guys could fill me in when i get pics up...he's bringing me the car tomorrow
sorry i didn't get the pics up today i will def. get them tomorrow i went to wash my car but they didnt take american currency on a base car wash :/ so they will be up tomorrow i think you are right though because it has the m3 emblem on the front grill but nothing but 320i on the back and the fenders arent all flared out like the other ones i've seen so it's probably what you said it was Mrm3
those look like some sweet as rims and i love that bumper man...sweet car what branch of the military are you in? Is there alot of stuff for the e30 over there?
