1985 BMW 325e--died while running, wont start. help!

i just recently picked up my first BMW. its a 1985 325e, 2.7 i6 5 speed. i had it for a total of 6 hours (not putting a good taste in my mouth about BMW) and it died. was coming around a corner, gave it a little gas, and it just cut off. no sputters or anything, just died. ive already replaced the cap and rotor, coil is new as well. i pulled out the crank position sensor and crank speed sensor to clean them, but in the process broke one of them (the one with the orange ring on the wire, which one is that??) so, now i think the metal sleeve is stuck in it, im not 100% sure though, i will continue to look at it. any help on the situation would be appreciated, thanks.

I have the same car same problem up under the dash to left of the steering colum is a black box looking thing has two little plugs in it wiggle and press on the front one has a green wire with a red stripe on it that is not getting a good connection and will kill power to your main relay there fore no spark or fuel think this answers alot of things needs took apart and re soldered good!
