So, i need to get either a locker or a LSD for drifting, and i have no idea what splines i need, what axle i have or anything,it is completely stock. anyone help me out? D:

Check the ratios, but I can't rule out the LSD from an E30 325i (not the ETA car). I'ts not a full on lock; it's a disc or clutch type. But in a chassis light enough, it's damned good enough.

If your turning the car into a full blown drift car, good for you. We look forward to seeing how it progresses.

However if your just looking to do parking lot drifting with a stock E30, i would stop now. Theirs no point spending the money on an LSD to drift a stock E30 as you will spend more mony fixing all the shit you break in the process. Just a heads up.

it will not be a for parking lots haha, it will be for my own personal fun as i see drifting as a sweet thing and would actually like to be able to be very good at it.
the car will be a daily driver to and from school, and thats the reason i want a LSD and not to just weld the differential to get 100% lock.
Any other input on this? also, i chose this bmw because i love the older, almost square looking body, i have no idea why it strikes me as good looking haha
