Hi there. I'm new to the forum here. A little history about myself. I'm a mechanic and have been heavily involved in cars and modifying since a young age. I currently own a 1984 Volkswagen jetta Gli Wolfsburg coupe, a 1984 Volkswagen rabbit Gti, a 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth, and most recently a 1982 BMW 320i. The bimmer needs a head ghasket fairly badly and I am just wondering what kind of surprises I should be aware of. If its just like your standard German four cylinder I should be fine as I've had a lot of experience with VW's and Audis. I'm very excited about the car. It took me a few years of searching to find one up here in Canada.
If your ever in Regina be on the look out for two blue Alpina's. One is a B3 Sedan and the other is a B8 4.0L Sedan, featuring the 4L M62 V8. Its Chassis #003 of 6 ever made in the world. I know the owner.
Chassis #002 of the 6 B8 4.0's went up for sale last month in Japan. Sold for $11,000 CDN. Black on black cloth, 5 speed manual transmission. A friend of mine was going to bid on it but couldnt in time.
