My mechanic and I are debating a topic surrounding my (very sick) 1982 320i. Did this car come optionally equipped with cloth interior? My door panels have the cloth inserts, and all seats are cloth (well, the back seat is worn down to the foam!). He was thinking this might be a Euro-spec model, but I doubt it. It has the federal bumpers, etc...currently still fighting the bog/sputter issue after warm up. Have now replaced plugs, wires, cap, rotor button, various vacuum lines, idle control valve and now fuel pump. Will soon have a mechanically new car if this keep up!
