does anyone hae any ideas what could be wrong i have taken it all apart cleaned it out still wouldnt work. got a whole new one put it on still wouldnt start. ran new gas lines new gas tank new fuel pump still wouldnt start. took it do a mechanic he couldnt figure it out so i have no clue what it would be if anyone can please help me out with this it would be a very big help to me.
First off check fuel presure, next make sure that the cold start injector is working, allways finger this item for no starts. These CIS (K-Jetronic) fuel systems rarely supply enough fuel to start the engine without the aid of the cold start injector. Next, crack open the fuel hoses at the fuel injectors and hold the air flow plate open with your finger while someone cranks the engine other wise it'll take all day, tighten injectors that spurt fuel one at a time to make sure that all air is purged from the lines. And make sure that the intake is free of leaks, any leak won't move the air plate enough and with the CIS injection, air flow = fuel. Check these and let me know what happens.
