you may have to bend the lips on the wheel wells.
its easy to do with the right tools, but carefully only bend the inner lips.
that should give you about .6 inch extra and you may have to take out the wheel wells too. ive seen it done, but the thing to watch is when turning that when you hit a bump you dont fold your fender with the front tires.
taken any pics yet?
like this chopped one (ps)[attachmentid=16182]

<a href='http://www.acantha.ca' target='_blank'>www.acantha.ca</a> 100% thrash your face off metal
well, it depends on where ya go...if your doing it yourself. i think the 18's will fit...i can make em fit...and
im going to turn my 4lugs into 5lugs really soon.
itll be next.
because of my prevoiuse thread and the humming noise.
ive lowered mine by grinding off 2 coils but now...maybe i upset the bearings..it took 7 months if i did it.
the cars got 200thousandmiles...and still fast as the new ones.
so i will photo my work and show ya just how easy it can be...
and if you do go for 18's you will have a very original ride for sure...
check the offsets and maybe put on 17's in the front.
get it aligned tooo. thats probably the MOST IMPORTANT .

you might be able to do 18's with some low profile tires

why? on a car with that power band you want nothing larger than 14-16 inch rims...you are gonna murder the whole purpose of that car...anything is possible with the right amount of money but i just think it will look ghetto...IMO

what i find funny is that dudes name is lowrider and yet those 17s make his car sit 5 feet off the ground! never should 17s be on a e30, if you do lower the car the SAME DAY you put those big rims on it. e36 looks find with 17s and 18s (17s look better IMO) but 15-16s are great for the e30 its what is meant to fit why do you thin the stock rims are like 14s where as the stock rims on the e36 are 16-17
