Yep.
It went like this:
I called the Discount tire that I normally go to in Macomb MI on a Saturday morning. The manager there said he did not have the tires in stock but that the store in Troy MI did. I asked him to send someone over there to get them. He was too busy but promised them in his store the following Monday. No good. I have 1 day a week (Saturday) to try to get this sort of stuff done. I called the store in Troy myself and was quoted $114.95 a tire out the door. I explained that I saw them on tire rack for far less and also that I thought the guy at the Macomb store would give me a better deal because I did not care for the Michelins. I also told him of my Saturday problem and that I was willing to drive to his location right then (30+ miles away) if he gave me a better deal. He said hang on a second and came back at $75 per tire plus tax. I asked his name and told him that I would be there in 35 minutes and to please have them ready. He did.
The T/A's are "H" rated.
The Michelins were XGT-H4's. Not HGT-X4's as I incorrectly stated in my original post....sorry.
Good deal?
BTW- I talked to a few people (asked for advice here as well) and used the site below in my decision to by the T/A's.
