DANSBMW is an unknown quantity at this point
I have a '93 525i that's showing its check engine light. I have tried the accelerator pedal routine to make it read the trouble codes, but with no luck. I have read that disconnecting the battery for a few minutes can reset the light. I'd like to give that a try, and if the light comes back on, try the pedal routine again to read the codes. My question is, what other problems will I run into if I disconnect the battery? Like needing to reset the radio theft code? Will the airbag light come on?
Thanks,
Dan
