Scotty Dangles is an unknown quantity at this point
Good Day,

I just have a quick question regarding clutch wear. I have a 94 530i with a 5 speed manual transmission with 183,000KM. This morning I noticed a significant difference in the stiffness of the clutch peddle.(could be from the cold weather)

Since I've owned the car (2 months), I have noticed a slight resistance when pressing down on the clutch. Since this morning I have noticed that the resistance only occurs about midway rather then right at the beginning when pressing on the clutch peddle. Shifting is still fine, its just the lack of resistance has made me make some adjustments to my shifting.

Let me know if this is a sign of wear or something I should worry about.

Cheers
Scott
