The 3.15 LSD is better for more highway driving. The 3.91 LSD isn't good for prolonged highway use but is said to have neck snapping acceleration. Too get the best of both worlds im thinking a 3.46 LSD. Would the improved acceleration be worth it opposed to keeping a stock open diff? Also assuming it comes with the cover and proper flanges how hard would it be to install?

DON'T go 3.91. yes it will be very zippy, but your gearing will be very short. most threads in the m3 sections agree that 3.46 is the way to go.
