A couple of weeks ago I purchased a '96 328i, 103,000 mi., was just getting familiarized with the "smart" climate control system, suddenly I'm unable to get the blower fan to come on & don't understand what's wrong.. I adjust the temps, turn a/c on & off, alternate from auto to manual settings, nothing activates the blower fan.. is it dead? This happened once before, but in 10 minutes or so it was working again.. now it's not responding though.. I feel I should surely be able to get it to come on by command in some way, when I want air to blow. Would appreciate any insights.. could it be a fuse, relay, what things should I look at first?

I have the exact sane car, and there is no commamnd to turn it on, othere than the plus minus button to turn it up and down!!! If that is not the button you are using, use it, other wise sounds like a bad fan!!
