Having driven the e28 multiple times and owning the e34 and e39, I think the e39 feels like it doesn't handle as good as the other two. Of course, thats not the case, but it feels like the e34 and e28 are a bit crisper.

BeelZ, by surprise I hope you understand I didn't mean that it would come up and beat you, I was just saying that for an old car it would do pretty damn well.

I knew what you meant man - I can understand driving the older models may feel like a better drive too as you may be a little more involved in things. Personally I would love to have a track day with all of the different 5's there from conception to todays e60, and I bet I could have a ball in all of them.
