I own a 2000 525 DA and my former tyres were Dunlop 2000 I think. I almost had an accident because the front right tyre suddenly wore out and when I heard that noise I stopped only to notice that there were large stripes of the tyre gone
I was driving at 170 kph (100 miles) !
I changed the 4 tyres and went for Michelin Priimacy and realigned the whole geometry : now after more than 41.000 kms, the tyres are still in a very good shape with no abnormal wear
So I suggest checking the alignment and buy Michelin instead.
