| I'm about to change my air filter but decided against K&N when I read a report about them - the report said that they work well when they function properly, there is no doubt about that, but if the oils in them are allowed to dry out you may as well not have a filter in there
Now, I dont live in a very dry country (to say the least!) but I wouldnt want to take the chance - the stock air filters are meant to work as well as K&N - getting contaminants in my block is the last thing I want to do!
But I hear ya, now try the debaffle and you will notice an improvement to - slight but an improvement - the change in engine note and volume makes it worth doing alone!
