Please note that these #'s show stock vs stock. The mustang is VERY easy to hop-up because of the s/c. The 1/4 mile time really shows how much faster the cobra is. Having said that, I hate the cobra and wouldn't trade my E46 M for it.

It depends on your source. I used Car and Driver's #s for the Cobra and M. They got 4.5 sec for the M. You can read the article here:
