Basically I have some caulking or silicon crap stuck on my dash. It's not chunks, but like a smudge. I've tried using alcohol, some gunk products, some engine degreasers, etc. No luck
Laquer thinner. But don't rub too hard on the actual dash part or you might discolor it. Actually, I've gone pretty nuts on the interior to clean smoke brown crap off it wheni first got it and nothing other than brown junk came off.
If that fails, brake cleaner cleans anything..... but I don't recomend that one.
I can get Silicone remover in the UK...this works great on fish tanks...spray on...leave for 20 mins and wipe off...you normally need two applications though...I cant remember the make but I will look it up for you.
3M works well...I've never tried it on a dash though...be careful...maybe try a tiny dot in an inconspicuous area first....
