| a couple of q's...the yellow oil can looking light above the speedo keeps coming on for like thirty seconds and then turns off. this seems strange because i just had the inspection 2 done a week and a half ago and all they said was that my thermostat housing is cracked and my bushings are torn. they said nothing about the oil or the oil light. i called them and they told me to check the level which i did and was ok. why would it be low....they just changed the oil 8 damn days ago! anyway, any insight would be appreciated.
also, i used to detail cars when i was sixteen and had the opportunity to drive a bunch of different bimmers. i distinctly remember the display saying welcome when i turned the car on. mine does not. it doesn't give me any kind words of greeting-just the countdown to my next oil change. its ok i guess but i'm just curious if all your e46's do the same.
