Well, some sort of M variant...they obviously couldn't call it the M1. I thought at one time I heard grumblings about a 1 series Tii. Anyone know anything about that?

ya i went and test drove a brand new 128i and it was quick but i dunno i really like FI cars for some reason and even though its a like 10,000 difference i still havent decided... i also am thinkin to bring into the equation an M coupe... i like the m series but like most of u said expensive to fix with no warranty. so ya i dunno the 135i is very appealing to me right now... but ya i think i can afford it if my dad cosigns plus ill have like 15,000 for a down payment
I would personally go for the 135i. Havent driven it before but from reviews, its a incredibly sharp and handles extremely well. Think of it as the E36 M3. The new M3 has grown too much. The 135i was designed to be the playful, nimble, and sharp baby bimmer that was once the E36 M3. Just my 2 cents.
true to ur comment... i really want one im just gunna see if i can afford it.... i def need a cosigner since im only 18 and this will be my first big purchase and have barely any credit.i do need a cosigner though hopefully. my dad will he has bombzo credit
135i it REALLY loved them I almost signed for on But I couldn't get over the rear end on the car... it is just weird if you like it go for it.... and yeah my mom was gonna co-sign for me

ya im goin my step dad will cosign for me if not ill have to have some one else do it. Cant wait ill prob be picking one up in july sometime... how long does it take to order one? And do u have to put like ur full down payment to order it? or does it cost more money to order it?
No extra cost in custom ordering
Delivery times vary, but can be from 1 month to 3 months (shouldn't be this long though)
I think most dealers just want a deposit at first, but check with your local dealership
you normally do need a down payment for a custom ordered car(dont know the min. that is up to the dealer it is just incase you bail out on the deal and there suck with the car...)

do you guys also have the limited Performance Package with e90 M3 rims, M3 brakes, bucket seats, carbon body parts and stuff? They sell it in my favorite dealership, got three of them, all three with the fabulous, 200 hp 123d Diesel engine.
Only they're 55000 € per piece, that's about $75000.
the lack of ///M rims is easily rectifiable though. You know, if i decide to go after a new car, i think a new one series would actually be less expensive then the 33k sky redline i was looking at.
