Hello, i have just become the proud owner of a 1999 Z3.
I am wondering if it is possible to adjust the alarm so it
gives a sound as well as the indicator flash to show that
it has been set???
With the alarm on my Z3 all I had to do is hold down both buttons at the same on the remote for 8 seconds it should beep to let you know you did it right. That should do it.
Are you sure the flashing light isn't just the one for the radio? If that's what you are referring to then all that light really represents is that the radio cannot be easily removed. The side benefit is that it "looks" like a real car alarm.
