Hello, I recently purchased an 01 X5 4.4i with amber lenses. I already swapped the rears and sides out for clear, but not the headlights yet.
Is there a way to clear your exsisting amber headlights? I ask this because there is no BMW dealer around me for 50 miles and I'm rather new to the complicated splender that is BMW. I own a 00 Infiniti G20 and to clear those light I popped them in the oven at 120 degrees for 10 mins and seperated the lense from the houseing and remove the amber plastic and then put it back together. Can I do this or is there a special place to go or contact to but a set off different X5 model headlight or what. Thanks.
