ghead I am interested in any feedback regarding the following phones:
Motorola V710 (has anyone used this one with the integration feature on the BMW X3 -- to use with the phone keys on your steering wheel)?

Motorola V600 (same as above)

Also with either phone:

I know we would also need the additional kit -- the complete wireless one and not the hard set.

thanks.

Craig

I have a v710 and a 2005 X3. Originally the phone did not work properly with the bluetooth in the car, but Verizon now has a software/firmware upgrade which I am told will correct the problem and allow using the buttons on the steering wheel. I dropped off my phone at a Verizon store this morning to be "flashed" with the new software/firmware. I'll let you know if it works.

The phone works fine with the updated software but I haven't been able to get it to pair with the car. Apparently some people have. I get an "invalid pin #" when I try to pair the phone with the car.

finally got the phone paired with the car. everything works fine. Can make and receive calls using the buttons on the steering wheel talking into a microphone somewhere in there and the voice comes out of the radio speakers.
