Hi, I am a new member and I own a 1991 850i. I have a couple of questions that if any one has any suggestion on I would be greatful.
1. My trunk will not open, any suggestions or solutions.
2. My reader board( do not know actual term) on my console for service, climate controls,ect. is dead. Does any one know the least expensive place to buy one or have it fixed.

In regards to your console, most likely is a wiring issue or fuses. Check your fuse box in the engine compartment, drivers and passengers side by the firewall.
