will newer 740i seats fit in older models?

hello guys i'm new here. I want to clean up the inside of my 1994 740i, will any of the seats from the newer model 740i's fit the older 94? if so, up to what year? I just purchased a beautiful 740i that was garage kept but the interior was not treated well. I think they cleaned it with soap and water through out the years. I have a few options for the seats:



reupholster - $3000-$4000

dye - $15-$100

seats from newer salvage - $500 - ??



Thanks in advance, I really want to make the right decision before I start putting my cash in the wrong direction.
