I recently picked up a 92' 735il at an auction. A much more complex car than my Z3. I was wondering if anyone knew the whereabouts of the alarm control unit on this E32 model car. Some of the forums have said the 5 series is under the backseat, others have said the 3 series is behind the glove box. Im banking that the 7 series is one of the 2 obviously but would really like to know before I go taking things apart. Im trying to program the remote key-fob. Thanks

Thats kind of what I was thinking I just wasnt too sure. thanks
You do not need to know the location of the "alarm unit" as you call it to recode the key... what exactly is your car doing that makes you think you need to have the key fob recoded??
