Where are all the 1ers?

Wow... came over here from the Z forum (traded cars) and it seems devoid of 1ers! How come?

I would ask the same question. I went to the BMW 1-Series Forum and there is not much activity there either.

Most of the people that have bought the 1 series arnt very interested in the online community apperantly. I saw an older lady driving a Dinan 135 and I doubt she would ever come here.

I think the main problem people have with the 1 series is the small back seat area. For me it is just what I want but for most they want to transport more people. I also feel that the introduction of new upgrades to the 2012 may help. From what I see it has many of the features, performance wise, that are in the 3 and 5 series. Personally I like the styling and performance features of the new 1 series. Just my TCW.

Well for anyone interested in a roadster the 1series is fine. Some people don't like the look of them at all. Other people I've talked to feel like the 1M is underpowered and not a true M car. To some enthusiasts this is important. I would like to drive one before I say I do or do not like them. I think the styling is so/so but I don't see them too often.
