Arrow warning lights where should i start?

First post!! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I just bought a 95 740i. After starting it and takeing off the speedo stops working and the abs, trac control lights come on.

Wheel speed sensors?
Is there a speed sensor in the trans?

Has anyone had this issue. Where should i start? Thanks for any advice
