Upgrade To Sat/nav?

I have a BMW 728 1997, I am looking at getting sat nav and was looking at just an XDA2 with TOM TOM but I wondered whether it would be possible to buy the screen/kit from a salvaged car and install it in my 7series which does not come with sat/nav/tv.

i dont know how hard or possible it is to upgrade a beemer to sat/nav/tv if it was not originally installed so I would like any thoughts/experience as its a tidy way to get what I want and keep my car!

Is is possible....yes and no. The unit itself would fit fine, but the wiring would be all but impossible. Also, you would need to buy a lot of mountings for all the units. I would highly reccomend against it.
