After having some acceleration problems that in hindsight got more frequent in 3 days ive had this 84 733i-- today forward gears in transmission failed to engage. i was driving to a bmw shop and trans got progressively worse- that shop said they only replace transmissions- may try to get it t aamco tomorrow.
$700 bargain may be lots of trouble
i couldnt of burnt this transmission in the easy driving ive done in 3 days. wonder how dealer i got it from had prepared it to pass test drives.
or maybe something electrical went out.
