Stereo help on my seven series please

Im a DIY guy, which probably isnt the be kind of person to be when owning a seven series. :lol:





any way... Im installing a stereo myself, i got everything to power on ok and everything, but i can not get sound from the speakers. I think there is an amplifier that came with the car from the factory. Is there a way to bybass the amp? if there is one? i didnt get a harness, becuase i bought the car with no deck and harness, just dangling wires. any help is appreciated. B)


Oh duh i forgot to mention once again, i have a 1994 740iL

In most of our cars, the amp is located behind the vertical trim panel, drivers side, in the trunk.

re-run new wires, only way to get a quality installation.
