well i'm getting fed up with this situation and my car.2000 740i sport.same problem ,starting issues,i have replaced fuel filter ,pump, relays, now new coils ,soon to be injectors(sitting on tool box).car has been fine and then it just turns over.run only shell premeium gas.left work wendsday, got in car turn key ,rrrrrr, rrrrrrrr, got out waited 40 min. same thing over and over.sat in car shuck side to side, wham car starts.stopped at store got back in rrrrrrr.sat there for twenty minutes, not touching anything.boom starts up.help!!!!this is driving me nuts and broke.i don't get any codes .and i'hve also replace the maf to.one time at a shop they sprayed starting fluid in through the maf,and that helped.but before i go through the process of replacing my injectors ,which i'm going to do anyway, since already purchaced,am i missing something or is it time to just call it quits?
well let me start with my list of all my replacement parts,maf,o2 sensors(front and back)new plugs, new coils. Also not related to problem,i've down a brake job(new rotors, crossed drilled, new brake lines, rebuilt calipers withnew sleeves and the rest of the parts).I've also replaced all my power steering hoses.I also have new springs in the garage waiting to be put on too.O,almost forgot have new battery and new injectors in my garage waiting to be installed.after all this, it must be something either stupid or just bad karma. So anyway thats my problem, car won't always start and is quite embarrising having a nice car and having to try to get in running, and all i get is the turning over and over of the motor, then 20 or so minutes(i've had to wait as long as an hourand also listeningto my wife bitching about this problem, but i love my car and want to keep it.
