speedometer doesnt work

Was told by my mechanice that reason speedometer not working on my BMW 740IL 2000 model was that I needed front and rear, left side wheel speed sensors. Had him replace them, but speedometer still not working
He informed me that codes were 30 and 33. He tried to clear with scanner
but to no avail. any information on how to remedy this problem is greatly appreciated.

The most common reason is the wheel speed sensors. But it's possible that it's your ABS module that's causing the problem. Several owners have reported this.
